The International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) is a challenging programme offered to students from Grades Six to Ten. It is a student-centered program, which encourages our students to draw connections between eight subject groups and the world in which they live, providing a broad and balanced education for early adolescents.

The curriculum is linked together by six Global Contexts, which form a natural bridge between disciplines and offer differing conceptual perspectives. Students at the Australian School of Abu Dhabi constantly benefit from the added value of this cross-curricular approach, with their learning experiences enriched through social service and action in the local community.

To further enrich their learning experience, our students complete two projects: A Community Project in Year Nine and a Personal Project in Year Ten. Both projects are a wonderful opportunity for students to research, create a project and take action in the school, local or global communities.
